EIT InnoEnergy Hub Hungary is supported by the InnoEnergy Power Alliance – an initiative funded through the European Institute of Innovation & Technology Regional Innovation Scheme (EIT RIS), which is a framework developed to increase the innovation capacity in regions in Europe.

EIT InnoEnergy is the innovation engine for sustainable energy across Europe. For EIT InnoEnergy, true sustainability also means an industry that’s commercially viable, endlessly innovative, and highly competitive. 


EIT InnoEnergy Hub Hungary is operated by SC Energy Ltd. in Budapest and led by Ákos Dervalics, Country Manager. SC Energy is a member of Startup Campus Group, created for running the HUB operations. Startup Campus has been an InnoEnergy HUB since 2017.


Our scope is to: 

  • Identify, develop, and support promising ideas, startups, and entrepreneurs

  • Provide access to EIT InnoEnergy services

  • Host and promote co-branded events (i.e. PowerUp! Competition, TBB, etc.)

  • Perform innovation capacity building services, pre-acceleration programmes

  • Actively promote EIT InnoEnergy Business Model and participate in the local ecosystem

  • Perform local business development services and support sales channels for EIT InnoEnergy portfolio

  • Maintain access to innovations for large enterprises

EIT Urban Mobility RIS HUB is operated by SC Energy LLC since 2020.

EIT Urban Mobility aims to accelerate solutions and the transition towards a user-centric, integrated and truly multimodal transport system. As the leading European innovation community for urban mobility, EIT Urban Mobility works to avoid fragmentation by facilitating collaboration between cities, industry, academia, research and innovation to solve the most pressing mobility challenges of cities. Using cities as living labs, its industry, research and university partners will demonstrate how new technologies can work to solve real problems in real cities by transporting people, goods and waste in smarter ways.

Our Offering

InNow Training

The aim of the Business Support Package of the Interreg – InNow project is to provide learning materials and support services for startups and SMEs working in the cleantech field.

The InNow project consortium is formed by partners from Poland (InnoEnergy Central Europe), Slovakia (Civitta), Hungary (Startup Campus), Croatia (Optimizacija), and Slovenia (ABC Accelerator). We realized that there is a huge place for cooperation between startups, SMEs and large companies. Our goal with the InNow project is to enhance such win-win cooperation in the clean technology sector.
